Spring session has concluded for 2024.  Our next session will start Nov. 1 and run through early March.  Registration will open in September - if you are new to the team and are interested in receiving an alert when registration is open, contact us through this link .

For returning families: For the 2024-25 season, there will be two significant changes to the team structure.

  • We will have four different teams to choose from: 6 and under, novice team, advanced team, and select team.  Please visit the team info page for details about each team.  
  • This year, wrestlers will need to show their updated USAW card at their first practice.

Registration process:

Registration will be open shortly.  Get a head start on the process by updating your USAW card for the upcoming season!

Step 1: Get your USA Wrestling card

Log in to USA Wrestling and purchase your Full membership, or upgrade to Full

This provides team insurance, and allows your wrestlers to participate in MSWA-

sponsored events.

Step 2: then Register for the team

Before you register for NBWC, you must have purchased your USA Wrestling card

Our mission

NBWC is a youth wrestling team for kids ages 6-14 years old.  We teach folkstyle and freestyle wrestling to beginners and advanced wrestlers, and provide opportunities to compete at levels appropriate to a wrestler's level of experience.

We teach sportsmanship, perseverance, technical excellence, and resilience.  Our team comes from many different neighborhoods and schools across Baltimore - but we are all Stingers.
