For the 2024-2025 season, NBWC is going to change its team structure, to better serve our wrestlers.  We will have four different groups, and which group you practice with will depend on age and level of experience.  Groups will practice on different days and times and in different facilities.  Moving between groups after you sign up is possible, but please discuss it with the coaches at practice first.

Different teams have different USAW card requirements.  All of our wrestlers MUST have a current USAW card (2024-2025) before they can register for our teams.  Please consult the team information below to make sure you purchase the correct card.

TEAMS: 

1) 6 and Under Little Stingers Team: The 6U team is for all wrestlers 6 years old or younger.  USAW card: Limited Folkstyle card ($20.00)  Practices: Once a week on Tuesdays, 6:30-7:45   Location: Friends School of Baltimore  Registration cost: $80.00

2) Blue Team: This is our novice/intermediate team for ages 7-11 (wrestlers with 2 years or less experience in competitive wrestling).  USAW card: Limited Folkstyle card ($20.00)  Practices: Twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30-8:15  Location: Gilman School  Registration cost: $150.00

3) Green Team: This is our team for wrestlers with more than two years of experience on the mat.  USAW card: Limited Folkstyle ($20.00) or Full Athlete card ($50.00)  Practices: Twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:15-8:15  Locations: Gilman and Loyola Blakefield  Registration cost: $150.00

4) Stingers Select Team: This is our team for wrestlers who want to work at the highest level, including national-level tournament competition.  It is open as an add-on to Green Team members, and also to wrestlers who are not rostered on the North Baltimore Wrestling Club team (High school age, or from other youth teams).  USAW card: Full Athlete card only ($50.00)  Practices: Once a week on Wednesdays, 6:15-8:15  Location: Loyola Blakefield  Registration cost: $80.00
